The Department of Graduate Medical Education is delighted to welcome you and your families to the University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM).
By Wednesday, March 20, 2013 you will receive a Welcome Letter via email giving detailed instructions on what to do to begin residency at UNSOM and how to activate your New Innovations account. Please activate this account immediately.
Step 1 - UNSOM Resident Acceptance Packet - Due March 29, 2013
Once you have activated your New Innovations account begin completing the items in your checklist immediately due to strict deadlines with the Nevada Licensing Boards. Each step has specific directions on how to complete them, please pay close attention to those details. The UNSOM Resident Acceptance Packet must be completed and uploaded and/or mailed back to your Residency Coordinator by March 29, 2013.
Please check back frequently as there will be additional checklists such as Human Resource forms, Hospital Orientation Forms and training modules to be completed, in addition to, benefit and other resource updates. Please note you are employed by the medical school and not an Affiliate Institution.
