Nevada Office of Health Professions Research and Policy
The mission of the Nevada Office of Health Professions Research and Policy (OHPRP) is to improve the quantity and quality of information about the health workforce in Nevada.
The vision of the office is to assist health professions institutions and policymakers understand and meet Nevada’s need for well-prepared health professionals and to better inform public and private investments in Nevada’s health workforce and health care system. The Office of Health Professions Research and Policy seeks to be the most trusted source for health workforce data and information for Nevada.
Current Nevada Office of Health Professions Research and Policy activities include projects focusing on:
- Health workforce research and analysis
- Health sector economic impact analysis and financial feasibility assessments
- Rural data collection and analysis
- Coordination with state and national health workforce planning
