UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA SCHOOL OF MEDICINE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION ANNUAL OUTSTANDING ALUMNUS RECEPTION

Each year the Alumni Association plans to present an Outstanding Alumnus award to a notable alumnus at a celebratory reception for alumni, faculty and students. All alumni are encouraged to attend this event to reconnect with former classmates and to honor the award recipient.  The reception for 2010 is tentatively scheduled for the evening of May 14, 2010. More details will be available soon.

UNIVERSITY OF NEVADA SCHOOL OF MEDICINE 40TH ANNIVERSARY

On September 24 and 25 the School of Medicine celebrated the 40th anniversary of its founding.  More than 200 alumni, emeriti faculty, and current students and faculty gathered at the UNSOM Alumni Association reception to celebrate the anniversary and to honor the association's first recipient of the Outstanding Alumnus award, Dr. Susan Desmond-Hellmann '82.  Photos
