Onsite Participants



Eligibility Requirements Individuals present onsite at Nevada Test Site (NTS) during atmospheric nuclear testing (prior to 1963).

Individuals present onsite at the Pacific, Trinity, or South Atlantic Test Sites during atmospheric nuclear testing (prior to 1963) are also eligible.



Diseases for which compensation may be available

Leukemia (excluding Chronic Lymphocytic Leukema), multiple myeloma, lymphomas (excluding Hodgkins), and primary cancer of the thyroid, male or female breast, esophagus, stomach, pharynx, small intestine, pancreas, bile ducts, gallbladder, salivary gland, urinary bladder, brain, colon, ovary, liver (except if cirrhosis or Hepatitis B), and lung.



OTHER RESOURCES

Onsite participants and former uranium workers may also qualify for additional compensation under the Energy Employees Occupational Illness Compensation Act (EEOICPA).

Onsite participants who participated in a military capacity may also be eligible for compensation and health benefits through the VA.
