Welcome to the University of Nevada School of Medicine. As the state's only public medical school, we have been meeting Nevada's statewide healthcare, educational and clinical needs since 1969. The School encompasses 16 clinical medical education departments as well as five nationally-recognized basic science departments, in addition to serving as the home to many community healthcare outreach programs.
