Welcome to the Department of Pharmacology. Pharmacology is located within the Medical School at the north end of the University of Nevada, Reno campus which is in the foothills of the eastern Sierra. The department is committed to excellence in both teaching and research. Major topics of research within the Pharmacology Department include:

Faculty of the Department of Pharmacology participate in several interdisciplinary graduate programs, including the the Cellular and Molecular Pharmacology and Physiology Graduate Program (CMPP), the Cell and Molecular Biology Program (CMB) and the Biomedical Engineering Program (BME).
