Dr. Khiabani’s
expertise is unique in the field of plastic reconstructive, hand and
microsurgery as he brings a broad surgical expertise and
international clinical experience to Southern Nevada. He is the only hand
and upper extremity surgeon in the state of Nevada with both orthopedic and
plastic surgery fellowships in Hand and Microsurgery from
UNSOM and
UCLA. Dr. Khiabani is board certified in
plastic and reconstructive surgery in both the United states (American Board
of Plastic Surgery) and Canada (Royal College of Surgeons of Canada).
Dr. Khiabani has an extensive research background in
reconstructive and microsurgery with a Masters of Science degree in
experimental surgery. He is a member of many prestigious surgical societies
such as The American College of Surgeons,
The American Society of Plastic
Surgeons, The Plastic Surgery Research
Council, American Medical Association,
Royal College of surgeons of Canada,
and the Canadian Society
of Plastic Surgeons. He has had many national and international
presentations and award wining lectures in plastic surgery and is actively
involved in teaching many continuing medical education courses in
reconstructive and hand surgery. |
