Sign up for your date!

Destination UNSOM

The best way to learn if UNSOM is the best match for your medical education, is to visit one of our campuses. This program is designed for current applicants and you can attend the same week as your interview. Choose either the Reno or Las Vegas campus.

Applicants selected to be interviewed by UNSOM are eligible to attend one of the Destination UNSOM programs scheduled October through January. Email invitations will be sent out the same week you receive confirmation of your interviews. Signing up is simple - just click on the RSVP link at the top of the page; select the date you want to attend, and fill out the information.

RSVP forms are due at least one week prior to the date you plan to attend.

Destination UNSOM takes about two hours.

The Reno campus will host applicants each Monday, beginning October 13.

The Las Vegas campus will host applicants each Wednesday, beginning Oct. 15.

Session topics include

  • UNSOM curriculum and programs, from the students perspective. You'll talk directly with medical students about courses, professors, clinical training and more.
  • Campus tours.
  • Experience cutting-edge medical simulation technology.
  • Customized sessions based on your interests and questions.

Are you thinking about one of the combined degree programs?

Are you a married student wondering about balancing family and school?

Looking for more information on opportunities for minority students in medicine?

These topics, and others, are just some of the options you can select to learn more about at one of the Destination UNSOM events.
