The Office of Admissions coordinates the processing of applications for admission to the first-year medical school class as well as applications for transfer. AMCAS verifies and processes all applications and then forwards them to the designated medical schools. The Office of Admissions and Student Affairs coordinates the admissions process once a verified AMCAS application is received. This process includes sending secondary application packets, scheduling interviews, transcript review of required coursework, and all other parts of the application and admissions process.
