UNSOM Prospective Applicants: Undergraduates: Advisors


The University of Nevada School of Medicine is the best choice for students considering a career in medicine. UNSOM offers students the best value in medical education. You can find more information on the cost of attendance and a financial aid timeline for applicants.

Nevada graduates also receive placements in prestigious residency programs throughout the United States.

Degree programs offered by UNSOM include:

M.D.
The School of Medicine offers a fully-accredited allopathic program leading to an M.D. Beginning in the late 1960s, the school has graduated nearly 1,500 physicians who practice medicine throughout Nevada and the United States. More info.

Ph.D.
The School of Medicine offers students choices in master's, doctoral, and post-doctoral training in biomedical sciences. More info.

M.D./Ph.D.
This combined degree program prepares students for a career in biomedical research. The program is customized to the student's interests. More info.
