UNSOM Students: 4th Year Class: Early Match and Military Match
Early Match
A select number of residency programs require applicants to go through the Early, or San Francisco Match program. These are competitive and the early process allows applicants to participate in the regular match as well, if they do not match successfully through the early process. The following specialties are included in Early Match:
Child Neurology
Neurosurgery
Neurotology
Opthalmology
Plastic Surgery (selected programs)*
ERAS Plastic Surgery programs
The Office of Admissions and Student Affairs assists students with this process. Please contact Brandi Taylor, btaylor@medicine.nevada.edu, for more information.
*Many plastic surgery programs participate in the regular match process through ERAS.
Students should research programs and the process through both ERAS and SF Match.
