IT Support for Medical Students
1. How to reach us: You may contact the UNSOM Help Desk at the following numbers: Las Vegas – 702-671-5100, Reno – 775-682-5000, Opt 2. If you are in Elko, please call the Reno Call Center.
At some point you may need assistance with setting up mobile devices such as smart phones, iPhones, iPads, laptops…etc. You may email Robert Boyd rboyd@medicine.nevada.edu or Bill Swager bswager@medicine.nevada.edu in Reno or Jeff Scott jmscott@medicine.nevada.edu in Las Vegas.
2. Footprints is an online work order system that you will need to complete to request service. Simply go to https://footprints.unr.edu for the form and submit online.
3. No change to your access to Library electronic resources. If you have questions on this, contact the Med School Help Desk. We may end up referring you to the library staff on some issues (i.e. access to journal sites are down, etc).
4. Any issues with MyNEVADA – you can call the Med School Help Desk (phone numbers referenced in Item 1). Students should be using their MedIDs to access MyNEVADA.
