The School of Medicine’s program integrates programs unique to Nevada’s medical school with several national initiatives, including the Association of American Medical Colleges’ Careers in Medicine (CIM) program and FREIDA (Fellowship and Residency Electronic Interactive Database) from the American Medical Association.
The Career Development Program is committed to helpingstudents select specialties that will meet both professional and personal goals. Although specialty selection is a personal
decision-making process, the program provides students with:

An opportunity for students to discuss specialty decision-making with colleagues
Resources to help students make an informed decision
The program, which combines group exercises with individual projects, consists of four components:
Download workshop videos; sample questions; other information about residency interviewing strategies for UNSOM students.
Clinical Mentor Program
