Special events are important in the lives of medical students and for the institution. Special events such as academic hooding/graduation, the White Coat Ceremony for incoming students, the Clinician's Ceremony for students moving from the basic science years to the clinical years, and other events bring the faculty, staff and students together to celebrate medical students progress towards becoming a physician.

The Office of Admissions and Student Affairs coordinates these, and other student special events.
