Program Entrance Requirements
In order to be considered by the Admissions
Committee of the CMPP, applicants must meet all requirements established by the
Graduate School
including at least a 3.0 undergraduate grade point average (4-point system). The Graduate School may also require a Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or 61 (internet version).
Applicants are expected to have a B. A. or B. S. in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemistry or similar discipline.

Application for admission to the CMPP Graduate Program must be made to both the CMPP program and the Graduate School of the University of Nevada, Reno.
For the Graduate School:

- To be mailed to the Graduate School:
- Official Transcripts
- Official GRE scores
- Official TOEFL scores (if applicable)
To be mailed to the CMPP program:
- CMPP application form
- Three (3) letters of recommendation
The CMPP application form (choose either Word or PDF) should be filled in, printed, signed and then mailed. An application check list is at the end of the form.
To be admitted to the fall semester completed applications must be received no later than February 1st of the year for which you are applying.
