WEB DEVELOPMENT SERVICES

SCOPE OF SERVICE

The Information Technology (IT) department provides a range of support for web-based services related to teaching, research, clinical service, and administrative activities. The IT staff creates and maintains the overall structure for the UNSOM website; designs the UNSOM home page; and gives assistance to other UNSOM web developers in creating and modifying their own departmental websites. Our goal is to develop a robust and user-friendly web interface for the school.

HOW TO REQUEST ASSISTANCE WITH YOUR DEPARMENT'S WEB SITE

All requests for web development or guidance and advice with your departments website must be submitted in writing to medweb@unr.edu

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR DEPARTMENT WEB DEVELOPERS

Macromedia Dreamweaver and Contribute are the web development tools supported by the UNSOM IT department. For information on obtaining a licence for Macromedia software products please contact the Helpdesk at 775-784-3534 or send an e-mail to medweb@unr.edu
