The medical school offers specialized tours for groups within the Washoe County School District. One of those is the fall tour for students in the Gifted and Talented Program. Students spend a half-day at the medical school's Reno campus. Students talk with medical students, tour research labs, learn about programs offered by the university for undergraduates, and the anatomy laboratory.
