UNSOM Recruitment & Outreach: Middle School Students: Summer of Discovery

The decision has been made that the Summer of Discovery program will not be offered in Summer 2008. This program has been funded for the past several years by the School of Medicine in combination with student fees. Unfortunately, with budget reductions at the state level, it makes it impossible for the School of Medicine to offer this program in Summer 2008 without raising student fees beyond an affordable level.

We plan to reevaluate the school's ability to offer this program in Summer 2009, once budgetary decisions are made. Please watch the School of Medicine website for updated information beginning Fall 2008.
