Who Should Attend

Purpose

The purpose of the 2009 Western Region Flex Conference is to provide a venue for CAH staff and practitioners, Flex program staff, and rural health care leaders to share information and best practices with their peers in the western region of the United States. The conference will also provide an opportunity for participants to learn about the latest innovations in rural hospital quality and performance improvement, as well as state Flex programs and Critical Access Hospital success stories in the region.

Registration

The registration fee includes one breakfast, two lunches, social reception and handout materials.

Early Registration fee, if completed by May 18, 2009: $225

Late Registration fee, if completed after May 18, 2009: $250

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received by May 29, 2009 will receive a full refund less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations after May 29, 2009 are non-refundable.

Location

Reno/Tahoe International Airport serves Lake Tahoe. It is 62 miles from Reno to Harveys Resort. Ground transportation is available from South Tahoe Express, a shuttle service that provides regular transportation to and from Reno/Tahoe International Airport at a reasonable rate. Book online or call 1-866-89-TAHOE to make reservations. Several major thoroughfares, U.S. 50, U.S. 395 and Interstate 80, lead to Lake Tahoe. At Lake Tahoe, you will be surrounded by 15 alpine and 13 cross-country ski areas. All the areas offer childcare facilities, child and adult ski programs and complimentary shuttle bus service from South Shore lodging properties. Hotel Reservations and Fees

The conference will be held at Harveys Resort located on the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Harveys is a four-star resort hotel with 740 mountain or lake view rooms. The resort also offers eight restaurants, live entertainment and 24-hour casino excitement.
