Welcome to the resources and services of the Savitt Medical Library. The staff and I hope you find this electronic connection an excellent source of access to the myriad of services and resources, print and electronic, that are available to you either in the library, elsewhere on the UNR campus, or on the Internet.

The Savitt Medical Library is the only academic medical library in the state and its primary focus for resources and services is the School of Medicine's students, resident physicians, faculty, staff and its many programs. The library also serves many constituencies in Nevada, under our designation by the National Library of Medicine as the Resource Library for health information in Nevada.

The library staff is here to help you find, use, gain access to and evaluate the information you need. A list of all staff and their responsibilities is available here.
