Free training offered in Fallon for caregivers |

RENO, Nev.— The Sanford Center for Aging, Nevada Cooperative Extension and the Nevada Geriatric Education Center (a joint program between the Sanford Center for Aging and the University of Nevada School of Medicine) will hold two free conferences for caregivers of those suffering from dementia in Fallon on Wednesday, April 8. "The Use and Misuse of Psychotropic Medications and Legal Considerations for Determining Capacity" training will be held from 8:45 to 11 a.m. at Banner Churchill Community Hospital in the Lake Tahoe Room, 801 East Williams Avenue. "The Medication Management, Medication Alternatives, and Legal Considerations for Persons with Dementia" training will be held from 12:45 to 4:15 p.m. at the Churchill County Senior Center, 310 Court Street.
