February Student Outreach Clinic dates announced |
Clinics provide free care to medically underserved population |

RENO, Nev.— The University of Nevada School of Medicine’s Student Outreach Clinics for February 2009 have been announced for the following dates: General Health Clinic will be held on Saturday, Feb. 7 from 8 a.m. to noon, a Women’s Health Clinic on Monday, Feb. 9 from 6 to 9 p.m. and a Children’s Health Clinic is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 21 from 8 a.m. to noon. The Student Outreach Clinic has the capability to perform various diagnostic lab tests, x-rays, blood work, ultrasounds and free immunizations for children. Small fees averaging between $5 and $20 may apply to certain diagnostic services and patients are recommended to call ahead to learn more about blood services.
