Governor Gibbons appoints School of Medicine's |
Temporary appointment aimed at addressing Hepatitis C scare in state |

RENO/LAS VEGAS, Nev.— Governor Jim Gibbons appointed Beverly Neyland, M.D., a pediatrician with University Health System in Las Vegas as one of three temporary members to the state’s Board of Medical Examiners on April 2. While serving on the board, Neyland will deliberate issues relating to the Hepatitis C outbreak at an ambulatory surgery center in Las Vegas. |
