Participants needed for School of Medicine study on osteoporosis

RENO, Nev.—The University of Nevada School of Medicine is currently seeking Northern Nevada participants for a study to evaluate the effect of physical activity on osteoporosis.

          “If you are a postmenopausal woman younger than age 70, you may be eligible to participate,” said Doina Kulick, M.D., principal investigator for the study.

          Potential applicants are urged to call (775)682-9502 Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to inquire about eligibility.

          The study is supported by the Nevada State Health Division through the Trust Fund for Public Health.
