School of Medicine dessert social planned for October 9

Public invited to event in support of women in medicine

RENO, Nev.— The public is invited to attend the American Medical Women’s Association dessert social and fundraiser on Friday, Oct. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the University of Nevada, Reno Joe Crowley Student Union ballroom.

The social will include delectable desserts from a variety of local vendors. All proceeds are aimed at advancing the status of women in medicine in Nevada.
