School of Medicine offers training for caregivers of those suffering from dementia |
Workshops offered in Reno with interactive video to rural sites |

RENO, Nev.— The Sanford Center for Aging, the Nevada State Aging and Disability Services Division and the Nevada Geriatric Education Center (a joint program between the Sanford Center for Aging and the University of Nevada School of Medicine) will hold two workshops for caregivers of those suffering from dementia in Reno on Tuesday, Nov. 17 from 1 to 4:45 p.m. and again on Friday, Dec. 4 from 10 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. The November 17 workshop will be held at Truckee Meadows Community College, Redfield Campus, Room 103, located at 18600 Wedge Parkway in Reno. The December 4 workshop will take place at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Pennington Medical Education Building, Room 214, located at 1664 N. Virginia Street on the University of Nevada, Reno campus.
