Become a fan of the magazine of the University of Nevada School of Medicine

LAS VEGAS, Nev.—Synapse, the magazine of the University of Nevada School of Medicine, is now on Facebook, the social networking website.

Become a fan of the magazine to receive news and updates that may be of interest to students, alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the School of Medicine. It’s an easy way to engage with the school and stay current.

As the magazine's Facebook page grows, it will allow members of the medical school to comment on articles, participate in group forums, and post photos, links and feedback to share within the medical school community.

As a reminder, the magazine's page on Facebook is a fun and informal means of communication. Becoming a fan of Synapse will not give the school or its staff or other Facebook fans of the magazine access to your personal information.

As a general rule of thumb, any time you engage with social networking sites, don't forget to use the privacy settings at the top of your page to determine who can and cannot see your personal information.
