Provide exposure and experience in patient treatment in a hospital and/or surgical center atmosphere. Emphasis is placed on treating medically compromised, geriatric and special needs patients.
Provide broad clinical experience and didactic training in all aspects of the practice of modern general dentistry.
Provide experience and didactics necessary to develop sound diagnostic, treatment planning, and patient assessment skills.
Facilitate close interaction with specialty staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Develop insight into the world of dental literature; set the stage for the development of lifelong learning habits.
Participate in local, state and/or national Continuing Dental Education to include public speaking.
