DEPARTMENT OF SURGERY LAS VEGAS
It is with great pleasure that I introduce you to the web site of the Department
of Surgery, University of Nevada School of Medicine (UNSOM). It is the mission
of the Department to continue a path of excellence in clinical practice, education,
and research. As Chairman, I am proud of our Faculty which serves as the backbone
of the Department. With over 60 full time and clinical faculty spanning 10
divisions, our surgeons provide a variety of clinical services to the Las Vegas
community
which in turn generates a wealth of clinical experience across specialties
for the education of our residents, fellows and students. The atmosphere here
is one of excitement as the Department continues to grow in faculty and create
new training, educational, clinical, and research programs. Thank you for visiting
