Please briefly describe your current scope of practice, including location:
I practice newborn to nursing home family practice except for OB. My primary practice is a hospital-affiliated practice in Blackfoot, Idaho. I am one of 20 physicians in our multi-specialty group. In addition, I am the medical director for the county jail and the clinic director for State Hospital South, the largest psychiatric hospital in Idaho.
Please tell us how our residency helped prepare you for your practice:
My residency program gave me a solid core of medical knowledge with excellent practical exposures. The breadth of the program has enabled me to be able practice good medicine in a variety of environments.
