Please briefly describe your current scope of practice, including location:
I practice newborn to nursing home family practice except for OB. My primary practice is a hospital-affiliated practice in Blackfoot, Idaho. I am one of 20 physicians in our multi-specialty group. In addition, I am the medical director for the county jail and the clinic director for State Hospital South, the largest psychiatric hospital in Idaho.

Please tell us how our residency helped prepare you for your practice:
My residency program gave me a solid core of medical knowledge with excellent practical exposures. The breadth of the program has enabled me to be able practice good medicine in a variety of environments. The emphasis of the importance of applicable knowledge.

Please mention a few things about your residency experience that made it special for you:
Faculty and staff who took personal interest in the success of the residents.

Please mention something that was particularly fun during your residency:
The informal lunches/dinners with the faculty and residents.

Lastly, please tell us something about yourself or family or activities that you would like to share.
Mary and I still love to roadtrip with our now three children.
