The Energy BALANCE (Behavior and Lifestyle Assessment with Nutrition Centered Education) Program is a medically supervised weight loss program that incorporates a multi-disciplinary team of providers to help you meet your weight loss goals. The average weight loss achieved is 1-2 pounds per week. With guidance, support and sound recommendations founded on the latest evidence based research; our team of providers will assist you in learning and practicing the skills necessary to create lifestyle changes for successful long term weight and health management.

Program Features:
  • Comprehensive Initial Body Composition Assessment:
    • Resting Metabolic Rate (RMR) Measurement
    • Height
    • Weight
    • Comprehensive Body Fat and Muscle Mass Testing
    • Full body Composition Analysis (weight, body fat %, body water%, muscle mass, basal metabolic rate, bone mass and visceral fat rating)
    • Segmental Body Composition Analysis
    • Waist Circumference
    • Blood Pressure
    • Pulse
  • Individualized Calorie and Nutrient Prescription
  • Follow-Up Body Composition Assessment (conducted at regular weight loss intervals)
  • Individualized Appointments with a Team of Providers:
    • Physician - thorough medical evaluation
    • Registered Dietitian - customized one-on-one nutrition counseling
    • Registered Clinical Exercise Physiologist - physical activity assessment and individualized recommendations
  • Nutrition computer tracking program - utilized in conjunction with individualized nutrition counseling from a Registered Dietitian throughout the weight loss program
  • Pedometer - to track daily steps and encourage physical activity
